Program Structure - University of Georgia
The Medicine program is 5+1 year undergraduate program divided into three stages:
- Preclinical Stage (Years 1-2): During the preclinical stage, students focus on foundational courses in basic sciences, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pathology. They also begin to develop clinical skills through simulated patient encounters and laboratory sessions.

Eligibility for admission in The University of Georgia
Academic Qualifications: Indian medical students should have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. They must have obtained a minimum aggregate score, usually around 50% to 60% or equivalent grades in these subjects.
University Test: Admission is based on an online interview/test with the university officials.
NEET Qualification: Indian students must have cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET scores are typically required for admission to foreign medical universities, including UG.

University will conduct an English test or may require applicants to demonstrate their English proficiency through standardized tests such as IELTS or TOEFL. However, TSMU may waive this requirement if the applicant has studied in English-medium schools or has achieved a certain score in English in their qualifying exams.
Age Limit: The minimum age requirement for admission to MBBS programs at UG is usually 17 years, and there may be an upper age limit as well.
