Program Structure - New Vision University
The Medicine program is 5+1 year undergraduate program divided into three stages:
- Preclinical Stage (Years 1-2): During the preclinical stage, students focus on foundational courses in basic sciences, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pathology. They also begin to develop clinical skills through simulated patient encounters and laboratory sessions.
- Clinical Stage (Years 3-5): The clinical stage is where students begin to apply their knowledge in a clinical setting. They rotate through various medical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry. Students also have the opportunity to participate in research projects and elective rotations.

Eligibility for admission in New Vision University
Academic Qualifications: Indian medical students should have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. They must have obtained a minimum aggregate score, usually around 50% to 60% or equivalent grades in these subjects.
University Test: Admission is based on an online interview/test with the university officials.
NEET Qualification: Indian students must have cleared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET scores are typically required for admission to foreign medical universities.
Language Proficiency: Since the medium of instruction at university is primarily English, proficiency in English is essential. University will conduct an English test or may require applicants to demonstrate their English proficiency through standardized tests such as IELTS or TOEFL. However, TSMU may waive this requirement if the applicant has studied in English-medium schools or has achieved a certain score in English in their qualifying exams.
Age Limit: The minimum age requirement for admission to MBBS programs is usually 17 years, and there may be an upper age limit as well.
Document Requirements: Applicants are typically required to submit various documents, including academic transcripts, NEET scorecard, passport copy, birth certificate, and any other relevant certificates.
